* To copy Kogoro’s voice, Conan dials #59 on his voice-changing bowtie.

* Shinichi Kudo’s birthday is May 4. It is also the date when Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty had a showdown at Reichenbach Falls.

* The name Shinichi means “ONE TRUTH”

* The name that the main character made up after his accident, Conan Edogawa, is derived from Sir Arthur CONAN Doyle as well as EDOGAWA Rampo, both very famous mystery/detective authors.

* Kaitou Kid shares the same birthday with OUR beloved author, Gosho Aoyama!

* Ran’s name are derived from both Edogawa Ranpo and Maurice Leblanc.
